How to generate Shopify product descriptions for multiple products with Chat GPT in few clicks?

Follow few steps to generate Shopify product description for multiple products in bulk with Chat GPT:

1. Select Shopify products to generate descriptions for
2. Open Mass Product Changer from the main menu
3. Select the description field, to apply changes to
4. Select Chat GPT
5. Choose an action. You can set a new product description, prepend or append the generated text to your existing description
6. Go to Prompt editing. Update your prompt per your needs or use the default one
7. Run bulk product content generation
8. Check generated product description

Let’s review the steps one by one:

1. Select Shopify products to generate descriptions for.

2. Open Mass Product Changer from the main menu.

3. Select the description field, to apply changes to.

Also you can select other fields to apply mass changes or generate data with Chat GPT.

4. Select Chat GPT

5. Choose an action. You can replace old product description with a new one, prepend or append the generated text to your existing description.

6. Go to Prompt editing.

Here you can see the default prompt. We recommend adjusting the prompt to make sure it allows you to generate the perfect content per your needs.

Hit apply to save changes in your Prompt

Also it is a good idea to run it for a few products and check the result, before applying it to multiple products at once.

7. Run bulk product content generation.

Once you are done with prompt editing, you can go ahead and apply it to the selected products. Hit Apply to run the process.

It may take some time if you’re running it for multiple products.

8. Check generated product description

You can check the result and see the generated descriptions for each product that you have selected in Store Manager software.

Here you can see the newly generated product description. Also let’s check how the product looks on the frontend.

Do not forget to refresh the page to see the result on the frontend.

Please note, ChatGPT may charge for each attempt for content generation. Please make sure to check your prompt and the generated result for a few products before applying it massively.
